Many different creatures and heritages have developed the ability to shift from their normal form into a dangerous beast form. The most common way for this heritage to be passed down is from a powerful Shaman-Kin or from a creature infected with Lycanthropy. Individuals with this heritage are able to transform into a dangerous beast form.

  • The character must choose an animal aspect to shapeshift into.
  • This heritage can be taken at any time.
    • Note: Regardless of when the heritage is taken, it should be reflected in the character's backstory from the time of character creation.

Costume Requirements

  • Shapeshifter characters are required to physically represent their shift into War Form. This may involve carrying two costumes; the burden of carrying two costumes is part of the disadvantages.
  • The animal aspect of the War Form must be evident.


  • S Shapeshifter characters gain a +2 Constant Bonus to Location Regeneration and Constitution Regeneration.
  • Shapeshifter characters have the ability to shift into a bestial War Form. Using this ability takes 2 minutes, during which time the character is incapacitated, and costs 50 halo. It lasts until the character chooses to shift back, which takes an additional 2 minutes. While in War Form, they gain the following:

  • Shapeshifter characters find that Silver is Bane to them.
  • When Shapeshifter characters are in their War Form they may not: speak, use weapons other than their claws, use tools, cast, use consumables, use craft skills, use chicurgery, or use any other skills which could not be used by a trained animal.
