Some individuals are tied directly to Natural Magic even though they are not necessarily tied to Gaea. The ancestors of characters with this heritage were almost always powerful natural casters or Archdruids; however some characters do receive this heritage as an accident of birth.

  • There are no specific requirements for a character to take an Gaean heritage.
  • This heritage can be taken at any time.
    • Note: Regardless of when the heritage is taken, it should be reflected in the character's backstory from the time of character creation.

Costume Requirements

  • Gaean characters are influenced by their ties to Nature and wear impressive druid's robes to show this.
  • Some Gaean characters have dramatic traits, such as strangely coloured eyes or hair, but this is the exception and not the rule.


  • Gaean characters gain the following skills: Detect Natural Magic Rank 1, and Natural Mana Regeneration Rank 1; they also gain Natural Attunement.
  • Gaean characters gain Natural Blow. They are able to call Natural Blow for 0 halo when using claws, or weapons made of wood, stone, or bone.
  • Gaean characters increase their Racial Natural Mana by +10. This increases by another 10 at Mid level, High level, and Epic level.
  • Gaean characters have retractable natural claws which must be represented by daggers. These are base 1 weapons which cannot be disarmed.
  • Gaean characters gain Weapon Proficiency Claws.


  • Gaean characters may not purchase Arcane Casting.
  • Gaean characters may not use items or consumables tied to Arcane Magic.
  • Gaean characters find Arcane spells being cast on them to be unpleasant.
